Welcome to the GLSA

The Global Law Students Association (GLSA) was founded in the 1970s as the Melbourne Law School's peak body for international law students. In 2007, due to unprecedented demand for global career opportunities and an internationally focused law association at the Melbourne Law School, the GLSA extended its services to all students. Today, our membership comprises in excess of 1200 LLB and JD students from 15 countries spanning across Belgium to Singapore.

Through global partnerships and events during the year, the GLSA fulfils its vision to expose students to opportunities to work and network beyond their country of origin.

To work – to achieve individual aspirations of life in our chosen enterprises

To network – we will aim for the richness of life that can only be found in broad, dynamic relationships

Do so beyond our country of origin – reach out with confidence beyond the security of our immediate communities, to journey alongside our global peers, and discover the myriad of opportunities that lie beyond the horizon.

Thank you for choosing to share your journey with us; we look forward to meeting you at upcoming events during the year.
